Irish Roving

The other night, I was watching the Irish Rovers on PBS with my mom, and it reminded me of the trip that I took to Ireland in 2005. My trip was in the first week of October, and was based in Cork, Ireland, with little side trips to Cobh and Killarney. I was still shooting with my 35mm SLR Minolta Maxxum 5 then, and it served me pretty well on this trip. What I remember most about Ireland was the friendly people, the amazing “Trad” music in the pubs, and bicycling through the national park in Killarney. Also I remember this great vegetarian restaurant we ate at in Cork, yum! My trip to Ireland was just a few days, but I will always want to return, the people and land made a big impression on my heart as a place I felt very at home. So here a few of my photos from the trip.
