Abstact Sunrise

These are a few photos from my first morning shooting photos in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula on the photo workshop trip I took with Monte Nagler in October 2011. I took these photos at about 7:30am or so at the marina in St. Ignace Michigan. It was quite cold that morning, and the marina was very still, allowing for some great abstract shots using the reflections in the water and the bright morning sun. Here are just a few that jumped out at me as I browsed my DVD of photos this evening.
