Calumet Church

While on the photo workshop to the UP in October of 2011 we stopped off in cAlumet City hoping to photograph the opera house there, however, it was closed that day. Just a few blocks down was this Catholic Church. It was built of red sandstone outside, and inside was all stained glass and traditional art work. I thought this was a beautiful church, while a little hard to photograph as it was low light with a greenish color cast. I think I got a few really nice images however. I don’t quite think they will fit into my exhibition at the Huron Vally Council for the Arts in February, but I want to feature them some how, so here is the first place.
