This is a gallery of images taken on a trip through mid and northern Michigan in October of 2010. I took these with a Canon 40D. You can see how my processes of landscape photography were developing, as this was a year before I went on a workshop with Monte Nagler. I have some similar shots in my photo exhibit this winter, but I consider these sort of “early drafts.” Some of the images, however, I think are quite good, I had the attention to color developed well I think, it was just a matter of learning from a master to develop better composition. These photos were taken in Mackinaw City, Petoskey, and Mt. Pleasant.
