Here are some of my photos from the last weekend of art Prize Seven in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Blakes Hard Cider Tasting Room

It was a brisk and sunny Fall afternoon in Michigan today and I took a trip to Blake’s Cider Mill in Armada with a friend to sample their new hard ciders. The Lions game was on the TV, and the atmosphere of the cider room was busy and fun. The new tasting room is fantastic addition to the quality establishment that Blake’s. I was really impressed by the attention to details of the decor, the music, food, and that the hard cider was DELICIOUS. Cheers!

Super Day and Night

On Sunday September 27 there was a special lunar eclipse of a “super” blood moon. During the day I was out scouting locations for a wedding photo shoot, and at night I was home enjoying the warm night a lunar eclipse from the back yard. Here are a few of the photos that I took that day and that night.

When I photographed the lunar eclipse I did not have a great lens on me nor a great tripod, so I hand-held my camera, and as a result got some really ghostly effects. I like strange accidents like this. It think the images are super weird, and kind of wormy
